Controversy in Eminen’s Career
Eminem made headlines after releasing his new song Unaccommodating in which he raps from the perspective of the suicide bomber who had killed 22 people at Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester, England. The song is included in this 11th album darkly titled Music to be Murdered By.
The song offended many and sparked outrage prompting Andy Burnham, the mayor of Manchester to give a statement on the BBC, “This is unnecessarily hurtful and deeply disrespectful to the families and all those affected.”
Despite his insensitive lyrics in the song following the attack, Eminen did partner with the British Red Cross to raise more than $2 million for the victims of the incident.
