Each term consists of 12 lessons.
Beginner courses offered for this term:
- Vocals
- Acoustic Guitar
- Pop Keyboard
- Cajon

Here at Ritmo, we believe that music should be made accessible and enjoyable for everyone! For all our beginner course students, will get a chance to perform live* at our annual student performance or during our anniversary showcase.

* Live performance experience will be subjected to prevailing SMM regulations by government agencies, and studio's event. If live performance is not doable, a video recording/zoom session will be done in place.

Cajon Beginner Class
The word Cajon literally means box (Caja) or drawer (Cajon) in Spanish. It has an earthy tone that provides a solid accompaniment for guitarists and singers.
Different scrape, pluck and muted or open hits create a range of interesting sounds. Various pitches of the note can be created depending on which part of the hand is used and by applying pressure to bend the wood with one hand or foot.
What will you learn from this course?
1. Basic techniques of playing the Cajon
2. Introduction to rhythms and fills
3. Apply rhythms and fills learnt to a repertoire of Pop & Rock songs
Guitar Beginner Class
The most basic way to learn how to play the guitar is to start out by playing simple chords on an acoustic. Specially designed for adults with no prior music theory experience.
Discover the fun of simple strumming on some sustained chords of your favourite songs. And as you progress on, learn to appreciate string techniques such as vibrato, harmonics, slides, and bends!

Vocal Beginner Class
Most people enjoy singing but some are not very confident about how their voice sounds to others. Through our vocal lessons, you will learn the proper vocal techniques to build your confidence, find your unique voice and reach your full singing potential — you do not have to feel conscious about singing out loud around other people anymore!​
